    • Allen County Public Library, 900 Library Plaza, Fort Wayne, IN 46802 260-421-1225  40m south – You’ll have access to the nation’s largest public genealogy research center with in-person assistance, physical records, and digital resources designed for everyone from beginners to the most seasoned family history researchers.

    • One highlight of the museum is a replica of the Robertson Post Windmill, a single stone wooden grist mill with a 52-foot diameter wind wheel. The original Robertson Post was shipped from England and erected on the James River near Jamestown, Virginia in the 1620’s.

  • Skateboarding

    • The premier spot for skateboarding in the area is the new Kendallville Skate Park 524 S Allen Chapel Rd. 12-15m from the fairgrounds. It has a modern concrete park featuring a bowl, street plaza, and, stairs, and boxes, located within the Outdoor Recreation Complex. Other nearby options include Eckhart Park in Auburn (20 mins away) and various parks in Fort Wayne.
